This large oval, and intense sky blue turquoise from Persia takes centre stage! Wrapped in sterling silver, this pendant has five bold baubles sitting along the bottom frame, adding to the drama. The back of the piece is open which allows for more of the gorgeous blue to be seen as well as the gold pyrite flecks. The catch on the chain is hand made to make this piece extra special.

  • Persian (Iran) Turquoise
  • pendant measures 2.5cm across
  • set in polished sterling silver
  • 53cm long sterling silver chain

Did you know? In Iranian architecture, the blue turquoise was used to cover the domes of palaces because its intense blue colour was also a symbol of heaven on earth. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turquoise)
